(see photo by Derek Cashman) is a 350,000 square foot entertainment and retail complex located on 4th Street in Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It is owned and was developed by the Cordish Company; it was designed by Louisville architects, Bravura Corporation. Fourth Street Live! had its grand opening on October 30, 2004. City planners hoped that the district would attract further commercial business development while providing an attractive entertainment venue for the city's hotel and tourist business as well as the local population.
Restaurants and entertainment venues in the complex include Hard Rock Cafe, Red Star Tavern, TGI Friday's, Sully's Irish Pub, Lucky Strike Lanes (bowling alley and restaurant), a British style restaurant The Pub, and the first-ever Maker's Mark Bourbon House & Lounge. Fourth Street Live! also has a wide variety of bars and nightclubs including Howl at the Moon, the Felt billiard lounge, Saddle Ridge, and Tengo Sed Cantina.

All concerts described below are presented by Miller Lite and free.

The “Party on the Plaza” 2008 Concert Series
Friday, June 6 – Vertical Horizon, best known for chart-topping hits such as “Everything You Want” and “You’re A God,” brings their popular brand of pop-rock to downtown Louisville.

Friday, June 27 – Gavin DeGraw brings his hit single “In Love with a Girl” and current top 10 album to the stage at Fourth Street Live! Along with tracks from the new album, longtime fans can expect to hear favorites such as, “I Don’t Want To Be” and “Chariot.”

Friday, July 11 – The Velcro Pygmies, a local legend as Louisville’s longest-running “80’s hair band,” will rock Louisville like never before.

Friday, July 25 – Fresh off the success of their award-winning album “Them vs. You vs. Me,” Finger Eleven will bring their top hits, “One Thing” and “Paralyzer,” to rock downtown Louisville.

Friday, August 8 – The Marshall Tucker Band brings a taste of the south to the stage. "Can't You See", "Fire on the Mountain" and "This Ol' Cowboy" are just a few fan favorites.
